Ibn Sina Uttara, also called Avicenna, was born in 980 from the village of Afshana, in close proximity to Bukhara in current-day Uzbekistan. He was a polymath, excelling in various fields such as drugs, philosophy, and astronomy. His early education and learning was beneath the assistance of his father, who was a respected scholar in the area. Ibn
